Working Equitation, speed test!

I've been struggling with Steve Holt!, and it was pointed out to me yesterday (not directly, but just in what someone said) that I'm thinking quarter horse while he's definitely not. So what do I do, when that's all I know? Well, as luck would have it, I came across a video this morning on Working Equitation and I think I have my answer. This is right up Steve Holt!'s alley, don't you think?

That horse is gorgeous and the rider makes it look effortless! It's sort of the like a cross between a trail class and several gymkhana classes. It's really cool!

I'm sure I should be looking at this and thinking of you, and/or Steve Holt!, and/or the competition.

But all I am thinking is that I can't decide whether I want to marry the rider... or his horse. That was GORGEOUS. Shhh!!! Don't tell my husband! :P

LOL, Becky! Quit slobbering on your keyboard...

CTG, he did make it look effortless, didn't he? And that sidepass...oye! Steve Holt can't sidepass over a pole on the ground without tripping.

Mrs Mom, glad you enjoyed it!

*gasp* I LOVE IT! That's just about the funnest thing I've ever seen. No, Steve Holt! is not a quarter horse, but he could do this with a little practice. Ok, a lot of practice if you wanted to look as smooth as this guy! I LOVE it!

I just love how collected that horse is, he could bounce off in any direction he's so balanced.
