2, 3, 4...how much more?

It would seem eight is the number we stopped at. Eight inches of fresh snow sitting upon my ground. Eight inches of white mud...not nearly as lovely as Texas Tea, nor as valuable. But it's here. Again. I only hope it's a far briefer stay and that our roads are passable with a horse trailer by the end of the day.

Steve Holt! had a couple of nice work outs both Sunday and Monday. I spend a fair chunk of time setting up obstacles such as poles and cones, bridges and streamers in an effort to both desensitize him and get him thinking about where he's placing his feet.

In addition to working on trail, I'm taking a firm stance on head set these days. Sort of. Okay, maybe not firm enough. At the walk we've rather got it, but ask for a bit of speed and up it comes! But if nothing else it would seem I've got my left leg back where it belongs a bit more consistently.

He looks wonderful! Sorry you got more snow - spring is out there somewhere. We're in for "mixed" precipitation, which means sleet and freezing rain but the temps are up. It's supposed to be 55 by the end of the day today and drop down into the 30s.

Oh wow, 8 inches?? We got maybe one inch down here. But the sun is out and I hope it all melts away.

SH! is looking good :) Yeah, that head staying down is hard. Will it stay down if you lunge him with some sort of side reins?

Ugggh, we woke up to snow down here in SW Washington too...I am SOOOO ready for spring! I bet you are too...nice...warm...sunny spring!
Steve Holt looks quite NICE too!!! Sometimes it's just time for: "OK, enough of that...time to grow up, and put on your big boy pants." He looks all grown up :)

We only got about 3/4 of an inch and it was gone by this evening. Mostly anyway. Not it is supposed to get really cold and then warm up and rain some more. I need some advice. I am going to try to call you tomorrow. Nothing I want to discuss here. You and Steve Holt are doing great. Will be good to watch you in Albany.

It was just a tad frustrating to see wasn't it. We didn't get much and it was gone soon after daylight. I have flowers blooming, it's just not right. You two look great together.
