The Trouble with Video Is...

Doesn't Steve Holt! look happy?!

You know the trouble with video? You're forced to look at each and every flaw in your riding style! Oye, vey... Well, according to the little ticker up there on the right side of the page, I've still got 40 days to fix not only myself, but get Steve Holt! spiffied up a bit more as well.

When you look at the picture from the "look what I've accomplished already" view...ITS AMAZING!...REALLY...ride 28! Less than a month from...raw.
I do see the little things that a trainer sees...but...WOW!
And, you ride well and you look good on Steve Holt!!

Thank you, ladies. Years ago when I was doing circle trotting, my equitation was great. Biggest problem? My legs were BACK too far! Now I watch this and laugh. What happened? :>

I should ask for words of wisdom from trainers...share with me, please! What do you see?

Steve Holt looks very relaxed and you look good too. I am just back in the saddle (for a few years) after being off for 20 and it's hard to get back into it. And since I have to learn to ride English, always rode western, Gilly is an English moving horse so I am having a lot of work to do. You on the other hand look great to me, but I'm no trainer. But I still think you are great!!! Steve Holt is a beauty and a nice mover! :-)

I'm with everyone else--your back is nice and straight, head forward, legs relaxed--you didn't look down at the poles--a quick glance down only--lope looks smoothe--SH! seemed very relaxed--I don't know what you're going to do for 40 whole days when you're practically perfect.
