So often I'm seeing photos and reading of experiences out there on the range, where women drive cattle from one pasture to the next, or bring them in for branding...and this wonderful, romantic notion fills my head. Oh...to be able to experience it first hand!
But a creative person makes due with what they have.
"Darling, get out there and chase them sheep! Momma needs a photo for her blog."

Good pictures! Ahhh, Rawhide, LOVE Clint Eastwood in that! He's still the greatest!!! :-)
Darling always gets a big smile and a little chuckle out of me!
CUTE! Love the muckboots and blanket riding style, Darling might start a new trend! ;)
Oh, that looks like Darling had a such good time!
I remember when my daughter came in from herding the sheep with a huge grin on her face commenting that she'll use the saddle next time. Apparently our arab mare was enjoying herself entirely too much and getting the hang of keeping "the girls" together and Katie was challenged...what do they say...keeping her mind in the middle while riding bareback! They can be fast 'lil buggers! lol.
I like seeing the sheep!!!
I think my first comment got eaten. This may come through twice. I love the herding sheep pictures! Darlin and Sandy(?) look they are having a great time. Perhaps I can train my pony to try to herd our cats? Unfortunately that's as close as I can get!
They look like they had a blast! I would love to see her try to herd the donkey.
Heh heeee, I approve of your improvization here, Tracey. Darling did good work with those sheep.
