I think Darling is Falling...

...in love!

Apple Pony is doing very well. He's become a big softie, allowing people to walk right up to him despite halters and lead ropes being in their hands. Yesterday was the first day Darling worked at all with him, and of course she had to have a little video fun along the way.

Apple Pony's owner has indicated that, to the right home, she'd be willing to sell. Darling says the perfect home is one who would continue to board him here so she can play with him. While I am not a Parelli person, I do believe Apple Pony would adapt very quickly to all the game playing. He's super personable, and as I said before, he's got a big, dreamy trot quite suitable for dressage. If you know of someone looking, send them this way!

You guys are getting just too darn creative with the photoshoping and now the video editing! Terrific!! I have to show my equestrian girl and tell her she has to figure out how to do this!

You are so blessed to have a daughter who enjoys the horses (and everything that goes with it) as much as you do. The horse gene in my family skipped a generation from Grandpa to me and I'm afraid that it skipped my daughter also. I have given her all the tools (horses, stuff and friends) that would make any other 14 year old drool with envy. She, however, must be bribed to go riding me, be on our horse judging team (even though she is the State Intermediate Champion with NO studying) and to do anything with the critters. She has a natural seat and a good, confident way with horses. Yet horses are so low on her list of priorities that it befuddles me.

Count your blessings.
